Entertainments

Entertainments

Active work and active rest are a key to success, which is why we will have evening concerts, quests and games, excursions and a platform for art activism.

Networking

Networking

Networking is a red thread that combines all activities within the Power Shift. Each session is formed in the most interactive form, and we will also be able to set up special network sessions so that you can get acquainted with like-minded people, experts and potential partners.

Action

Action

Tens of thousands of people on the five continents of the planet will take part in the global mobilization called “Rise for Climate”, which will begin on 8th of September this year. Local actions around the world should stimulate actions to reduce climate impact and send governments a clear message that the population is ready to switch to clean energy and a sustainable and renewable economy.

You can become part of such a mobilization during the Power Shift as well!

How it was

Power Shift has been organizing for 11 years all over the world, drawing attention to global climate challenges and solutions that are relevant to the country in which it occurs. In Ukraine it has been held since 2012. In Ukraine, during this 5 years the number of participants has increased almost threefold, of which 14% are foreigners. Every year the forum launches new local and nationwide initiatives.

The brightest of them is the DIY-campaign “Take and make it” (2012), the awareness campaign”Warm Point” in 13 cities of Ukraine (2014), the All-Ukrainian climate march (2015).

Each year the topic and purpose of the forum are adapted to the socio-economic challenges and to the request of the civil movement. In 2018 we want to show a picture of the future of 2050, sustainable, comfortable and safe, reasons to move to it, and the possible contribution of each person in such a future.
